I know for a fact that makeup foundations and bb creams have similarities but to be honest, I still go for the former as I am a foundation kind of person and foundations meet exactly what I need.
I love foundations because of unlimited color ranges. I am pretty apprehensive when it comes to choosing the shade. Whereas poor selection of foundation shade turns my face darker, gray and ashy. It has been roughly 15 years but thinking of my Junior/Senior prom makeup still makes me puke.
Unfortunately, BB creams are mostly restricted to three or five shades. It majorly turns me off but having the Benefit Big Easy Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfector in Light/Medium (P2,000.00 for 35mL) on my dresser table, nevertheless, made me extra excited in spite of my preferences.
I might have received the correct shade (Light/Medium 03) and the coverage was so great but I have to wear this color over and over and to see it under the sun before I make a decision if it really matches my undertones.
But so far, so good.
Hookay.
Benefit Big Easy claims that this tube is bigger than BB: (1) balances moisture & controls oil, and (2) perfects & evens with liquid-to-powder finish.
If I am going to bet my bottom dollar on my test drive of this product, I have to say that it was really light and fresh. Well, bb creams are supposed to do this job anyway.

I wore this for more or less five hours. The coverage was pretty awesome for the first few hours of usage but when I got home and checked my face, the product was almost gone. Well, humidity conditions in the Philippines is icky and I always sweat when it’s super hot. To add, I have to look after our little one and that includes running. Running produces more sweats and more sweats.
The Benefit Big Easy is perfect for you:
-if you are looking for a sheer or light coverage;
-if you are looking for some skin care benefits like your pores can freely breathe;
-if you are always on the go (no need to use a makeup brush, just your fingertips to apply);
-if you are heading out to the ocean and you need a higher SPF.
APPLICATION–
Just pat the product on your face and never try to rub it in. You might get some flakes/scales when you do the rubbing motion. Please trust me on this one. Just pat, pat, pat!
To wrap this up, I am unsure if I am going to purchase the full size of the Benefit Big Easy. I have a ton of facial issues and that includes pimple scars and imperfections that I need to hide. Sure I can cover them up flawlessly using concealers but because of familiarity and routine, I would rather use my favorite foundation and match it with my favorite concealer. It’s just me.
Nothing serious but I have a slight confusion. What category does Benefit Big Easy fall under? Foundations? BB Creams? But Benefit placed this product under Foundations in their website.
