Curled up lashes without mascara? Possible. Keep on reading as I will tell you how I keep my eyelashes curled up all day.
Having oily eyelids is one of the reasons why lashes are lazy and uncooperative. So what to do now if you have greasy curtains? I do have oily lids. It sucks, I know. Okay. Keep on reading.
To resist the slippery eyelashes, I included on my skincare routine the classic and super mild, Johnson’s Baby Shampoo (the orange one). Surprised? I have been using this product on my eyes since later last year. The reason why I started using the said product is because I had a lump on one of my lower eyelids. My Optometrist called it a stye though I believe it was chalazion (blocked oil gland) because I experienced no pain as I read there are lots of types of eyelid bumps.
Anyway, I wash my eyes — brows included — using this shampoo before anything else. Twice a day. You just need a teensy-weensy amount for both eyes.
Grab your favorite eyelash curler and do your thing and you’re set.
The longest time I was out of the house was more or less 15 hours. When I got home and checked my face, I was surprised to see that my eyelashes stayed curled up. So I thought and told myself, this awesome experience deserves a blog entry.
It works for me and let me know if it also works for you. Good luck!
PS. My eyelid bump is totally gone now.
Who would have thought? Nice discovery Laarni, thanks for sharing! 🙂
