Grain Alcohol and Witch Hazel Extract*
I am going to be straightforward here, the Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner (P79.00 for 59mL) is surely matchless. As a matter of fact, I already finished this travel-size bottle up and I am ready to buy the bigger size. I know I was running low of this product but sadly I failed to visit Healthy Options in SM Megamall when I went there last week — tired feet, no sense of direction and forgot where exactly in Building B was the store, and again tired feet.
The Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner was recommended by my friend Joice. I like the idea that this product contains 100% all natural: 14% Natural Grain Alcohol and Witch Hazel Extract. I read that Witch Hazel is a plant. Its extract can be used as an astringent to help tighten the skin.

Just a little back story and I’d like to document it–
I had a major summer breakout when I was about halfway through the bottle. I initially thought that the Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner was the one causing it (I also suspected my new moisturizer was the culprit) so I had to stop temporarily from using the toner and moisturizer and waited for my period. That particular breakout left me few pimple scars somewhere on my chin. After few days, my skin was calm and went back to normal.
I was so close to toss the bottle away but later on I figured it was just the hot humidity and the hormonic pimples. Eggh.
Until next time!
