Most confident people in your life may seem born with a sky-rocketed confidence but here’s the thing: They’re not. Even if they are shy, afraid and not confident — they do it anyway. Have you ever encountered: Fake it until you make it?
While your assumptions may not be always true about self confidence being innate, but I am sure that confidence can be learned, be developed, be felt — is actually a state of mind.
Now, let’s talk about my undesirable place: My underarms.
My pits may appear not too dark as dark as night skies but still it somehow affects my confidence so this year under my #DoItNow project, I have just started finding ways to ligthen and smoothen them — because complaining about having dark underarms is pointless, why not solve these issues once and for all?
My abused skin on my underams was actually because of the hair: Pluck, pluck, pluck.
So it’s logical to say that the armpit hair has been always the culprit.
Btw, I am not against with people who have armpit hair — Do whatever makes you happy! I am all for things that stimulate you!
Over a couple of months ago, I went to Surgiderm to avail their Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) package worth P2000, it has five sessions (I am about to get the final session). IPL is a technology used in hair removal and other skin treatments. Since the first session, I have also stopped using commercial deodorants, which made a big difference.
So far, so good. Skin is a lot smoother and lighter now than previous months. Next time, will mention about the products I’ve been using like deodorants (mostly Milcu and the deo that Surgiderm provided me), lightening cream, and body scrub.
