Hello there, wonderful people! Last weekend, I attended a very lovely wedding of one of my female cousins. The event was also extra special to me because my daughter was chosen to be one of their flower girls. I was so excited and too nervous at the same time because tantrums but I am glad my little munchkin pulled it off and was all behave until the reception. Anyway, let me tell how I put my outfit together for this red and gold themed wedding.
Every piece in my outfit was all repeats except for the blue dress, which I purchased sometime in December. Can you imagine how I refuse to eat a lot of festive food during the holidays? I also worked out specifically my waist and lower belly off for days so I still could fit in this dress on the day of the wedding — It was a great motivation too! I am proud! The dress is in size 2 and made of 97% polyester and 3% spandex so if I gain weight, it might be a struggle for me to make it through the day. *laughs*
This fit and flare dress was from Just G. I believe it’s a local brand that mainly targets teenagers. Features a round neckline, no sleeves, and hidden side zipper. It also comes in pastel pink, dirty white, and mint. And read this: Price is only US$16.00 or PHP799.75 — It’s pretty difficult to score a beautiful dress like this one under PHP1,000.00 these days, you know? This style is still available so get a chance to snag one of these!
I based all the buying decisions on my pair of red ballet shoes as I froze out the idea of buying a new one because I am a cheapo and time was running out and there was the holiday rush that I said no to. According to my hubby, color red always compliments with blue so when I first laid my eyes on that Just G blue dress, I really had to get it!
My black bag and red shoes were first seen here. My bracelet here. Bought the necklace at Zalora.
I did a very simple makeup: Neutral eye shadows and red matte lipstick. Sorry, you had to see my rogue hair again. Hihi.
AND THERE WAS A BOOBOO! The dress code of the wedding organizers were blue too! Shocking! They were wearing the exact shade of my dress but I saw one of them was wearing black shoes. Worth sharing, huh? I just laughed it off and ignored them. lol. Until next time!
What a lovely group! I really like your blue dress .. fit and flare dresses are perfect for the pear shaped gal 🙂

Ohh, gorgeous there Laarni, blue is also my thing and I really love how you have blended that fit and flare dress with the red shoes. Really matching. I am thinking of being in blue this valentine. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work.
