The MAC Cleanse Off Oil (P1,550.00 for 150 ml) is the best makeup removers I’ve tried so far.  I started using this since March and I got no complains about it.  Right off the bat, this is a must-have product especially for sensitive skin and eyes.  For some reason, it also makes my skin glowing, smooth, and fresh every after use.  Amazing.

I know that everybody has its own version on how they use this product.  Since I have sensitive eyes and I wear contact lens on some occasion, I give extra care when removing my eye makeup.

I remove my contact lens first, I dispense the makeup remover once for both eyes, gentle massage, lightly, then get one piece of round cottons and wet them (2 drops of water) then place it on my eye, gently wipe downward to get rid off the eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara.  I rarely apply makeup on my lower lash line these days but cotton swabs (or the famous qtips) are very helpful to wipe them out completely.

What’s your makeup remover?  I am still on the hunt for oil-free removers.  Can you recommend me a good one?  Talk soon, sweets.

  1. Sounds pretty good Laarni thnx for sharing! I’ve been enjoying the Garnier cleansing oil …more than half way thru the bottle now but my fav is my own concoction using castor oil , jojoba and coconut oil 🙂 specially like the castor oil for my eye makeup so I can condition my lashes while I’m at it heh.

    • I saw some Garnier products at the supermarket but I haven’t actually bought something from that brand. And wow I haven’t really thought of making my own eye makeup remover. I used to with my hair, when I was a lot younger, my mom would put coconut oil on my hair. My hair was so shiny and beautiful that time. lolz. Thank you, Dee, for commenting!
