THE FUTURE IS HERE
The Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Brush in Black (US$24) is my holy grail foundation brush! It is the queen of the queens! It is the star of the stars! I have been raving about it since I received it in early June! It also made me stop using my dear MAC 190 Foundation Brush. Intriguing? Hell yes! Let me tell you why!!!
THE TRENDSETTING FEATURES
Sigma Beauty surely wants to be ahead of everyone’s time. They keep on pushing and pushing the boundaries until they got it right. The most innovative and the best feature of the Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Brush is its clever shape. They made a recreation of the traditional round shape of kabuki brushes into something new and different.
The ridge or the highest point of the brush is connected to two non-identical wedge flat surfaces. Allows a user to perfectly apply face foundations in any form like liquid, cream and powder. The brush blends product evenly on the skin and creates a very natural looking coverage. It can be also used on hard-to-reach areas of the face like the nose, under the eyes for concealer application, & the side, above, and below the mouth. It’s amazing!
Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Brush has thick and dense bristles made out of super fine synthetic hair — Undeniably very soft and smooth to the touch! Since it’s synthetic, the product absorption is lesser than using brushes with natural bristles. Its ferrule or metal is made out of durable and strong material, which they called it, “SigmaAlloy” to hold the bristles. The metal is seamless and has three rings for extra grip. Its handle is made out of a lightweight wood material, which receives a total of eight coats of paint to achieve a scratch-proof finish and to make it usable for a very long time or possibly a lifetime if you provide more love and proper care.
I really appreciate this effort because makeup brushes in general are expensive. They are so pricey that I think it will take me a decade or so to be able to acquire these brushes that I really need on my wishlist! The list is getting longer and longer by the minute, btw! Eeek!
THE 3DHD IS A LIFESTYLE
Multi-functional brushes like the Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Brush are time savers. Having one brush that can do almost everything can definitely reduce the time spent. I should blog about how I strategically apply my makeup in the morning. I used the word strategy here because having a toddler at home needs a ton of game plan.
How To Apply Makeup With A Toddler would be an interesting next blog topic, huh? Would you read it?
THE CONCLUSION
Still no shedding after a couple of months of use! The bristles are still intact. The handle is still shiny! I am very impressed! Sorry, I am still looking for some faults here. I shall update this entry if I find something unacceptable.
What’s your latest obsession? Take care and have a nice weekend!
I would read: How to apply makeup with a toddler. It is quite tricky, especially when attempting winged liner…
