STRIKE A POSE
Through the years, for the sake of making attempts to look good in photos, I’ve managed to make these poses: Hand-on-hip, s-shaped, and one leg partially bent, which I normally carried out in one strike as my signature red carpet pose. Proof here, here, and here.
This time around, however, I am mixing things up and have recently added the hand-on-head pose to the show. Hihi.
If you have never posed before, doing these simple poses for the very first time will make you feel awkward but I am sure you will get better with practice.
At the end of this post, I am going to tell you a little secret that surefire will boost your self-confidence. Keep on reading!
FUN SISTER PICTURE POSES TO TRY
In this photo above, I did the hand-on-head, s-shaped, and one leg partially bent. While my sister did the hand-on-hip pose and bent leg & knees together.
For some reason, I find doing the poses more comfortable with someone beside me like a friend or my sister. Finding the right angle is easier with a partner-in-crime too.
The "S" posing is basically creating an S-shaped with your body. This is one of my favorite poses because, gosh, I have childbearing-hips, beautiful waist-to-hip ratio (thank you, mama!) that I really want to accentuate more. And this pose gives a lot of difference as opposed to "I" posing or "C" posing. Trivia: Eventhough I do have wide hips, I had an emergency C-Section with my daughter. So it's fair to say, based on my experience, having childbearing hips don't make the difference in childbirth. |
"What's the name of this pose? I am blogging it." "It's a Heart Sign." "I thought it's called, Snap Finger Pose." LOL Her DIY-bangs fit too, right? Would you try this next time? It's fun, unique, and it's Korean. |
So here’s my little secret, every time you strike a pose, you need to feel it. You need to believe that you are sexy. Use your body to express. You don’t have to be a super model to slay it. Just feel it and love what you’re doing!
