STEAMCREAM in Chiyo Neko (P695.00 for 75g / Design #239) is awfully cute! What does Chiyo Neko mean? It means Thousand Cats and this recyclable tin was designed by Saya Suzuki, a talented illustrator in Japan. I was actually aiming for a different design but sadly it was unavailable so I had to choose a new one that I thought more appealing than the initial plan.
Since this facial moisturizer has no SPF, I use this as my night time moisturizer. I liberally apply this product all over my face and after few minutes, I get some tissues and blot off the excess. I once used this on my neck but the reaction of my skin on that area was bad. I felt a tingling sensation and it was starting to get itchy, which was uncomfortable. Realized that my neck is probably one of the most sensitive skin I have. My neck is soft and normally never exposed to the sun because I regularly let my hair down when I go out. This made me think that I should have religiously taken care of my skin when I was a lot younger. Maybe if I have, my face can also be as soft as my neck now.
Once you open the tin, you need to use it up within six months. I follow these things because rotten goods can be harmful.
The STEAMCREAM in Chiyo Neko is my first vegan product. And oh boy, check out the list of ingredients: Oatmeal Infusion, Orange Flower Water, Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter. So organic, huh? WOW!
It is a good facial moisturizer but if you dislike the ickiness feeling, use this during the colder days or when your AC is turned on or stuff a lot of tissues beside you and blot your face using tissues after few minutes.
And oh, this can be your body moisturizer and hand moisturizer too. 3 in 1!
What’s your facial moisturizer? Thank you for reading, loves.
