PICNIC DAYS ARE ALMOST HERE!
So here’s the plan: No wearing of full-coverage foundation for the entire summer! When it comes to makeup application, sunny season is the time of the year that makes me lethargic like a lazy dog on a hot day. Going barefaced is no problem for me, however, if I want to look less scary especially when I go out of the house, I want to pull off the no-makeup makeup look tricks.
Here are the products that I aim to use this summertime:
MY SUNNY SEASON MATES
I still feel the need to put a primer on after my skincare regimen so I am including the Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional in the lineup. Despite of skin issues like acne scars and big pores, I love applying BB creams as they are sheer and lightweight on skin. I recently purchased a new tube of POND’S Flawless White BB Cream and this time I picked up the shade in Beige. It may sound silly to some but I still like the idea of contouring my face so I am adding the MAC Powder Blush in Taupe in the program. I love the rosy/highlighty effect of the MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Springsheen on my cheeks, this is also involved in the plan.
As for the lips, I think I will be wearing more pinks than reds this time, I’d like to use this Maybelline Pink Alert in POW2 more this summer.
But then again, I am a crazy woman: Naked face today and full makeup the next day. Hrhrhrhr. How about you, what are your summah plans? Talk laters.
Hi Laarni. I like the idea of no foundation in the summer but I would feel too self conscious. I am fine with a Tinted Moisturizer though. I like your summer picks, the lip color in particular! I am not thinking about summer yet. I am anxiously waiting for spring as we are having temps of -10F right now here in Michigan. Send me some sunshine!

Haha, I guess we are really alike! I also don’t bother with foundation and what not (though this is not restricted to hot weather) when my makeup can melt off 😛 I like a fresh face with a pop of color (lipstick, some eye liner and mascara).. and that should do just fine!

Aaah yes ze ponds BB Cream…sadly the shades they had didnt work for me but I did like the texture! That darn MA blush in Taupe is never available here!!
