ULTRA MATTES V2 DARKS
Hello! I am very excited to share with you all an amazing matte eyeshadow palette that has been in my possession for a while now!
I am also all fired up to kick in some awesome possibilities that I can come up with using these colors!
When I was browsing for makeup at Zalora I knew I wanted eyeshadows, but I got lost in the long list of beauty brands.
I’ve had complex relationship with their shopping cart, too, that it took me one whole day to make a buying decision and finally hit the checkout button.
But, after all, I am positive that I’ve finally found my new apple of the eye in the form of Sleek MakeUP!
Let’s get started!
ULTRA MATTES V2 DARKS
Sleek MakeUP Ultra Mattes V2 Darks i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette (US$11.99 or PHP695 for 12X1.1g/12×0.03oz) contains 12 shades that are supposed to be creamy, pigmented, blendable, long-lasting and suitable to all skin tones. Sleek MakeUP boasted that it has pearlescent shades that can highlight and illuminate the skin to achieve a radiant effect.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION
I’ve always had this low expectation for non-premium eyeshadows because of the big difference that they put in the ingredients versus the high-end ones, but for this Sleek MakeUP Ultra Mattes V2 Darks i-Divine Mineral Based Eyeshadow Palette, I am quite impressed!
Although, I can tell that my LORAC PRO Palette‘s shades are a lot smoother than Sleek MakeUP’s, the shades of the latter perform well for my taste and I am completely satisfied.
Creamy & pigmented, yes! I am glad all colors are non-chalky too!
Blendable, yes! Your blending skills and patience will put to the test but it’s definitely fun and very rewarding.
Long lasting, yes! I wore it for four hours and stayed gorgeous until my night time skin care routine happened.
PACKAGING
I am just a little bit displeased with the packaging because my nails chip every time I open the lid of this palette. Oh lawddd! But hey, it has a big mirror, which is a plus!
ULTRA MATTES V2 DARKS INGREDIENTS
Mica, Talc, Kaolin, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquid, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Propylparaben and Methylparaben.
SWATCHES
As can be seen on my swatched arm here, the colors called, Dune, Pillow Talk, and Flesh looked almost invisible against my NC30-NC35 skin tone. On me, these colors are perfect for base, highlight and transition. While Thunder, Maple, and Villain can also be my crease transitioning colors.
I can go on forever but I just want to say that I am very excited to throw the colors together! I can push endless eye looks for sure!
And if you are into smoky eyes, this palette is absolutely for you!

I have read a lot of great reviews on Sleek makeup, both the eyeshadows and the blushes, but never tried anything myself.
